The HP Pro Shredder Auto 400CC for professional demands has a considerable cutting capacity of 400 sheets in Automatic mode and is therefore perfectly suited to fulfil large office requirements. When in Manual mode, the shredder can shred 10 A4 sheets. The shredder cuts material according to security level P-4, therefore it fulfils the requirements for shredding according to DSGVO (General Data Protection Regulation) requirements. The particle-cut mechanism ensures the personal documents inserted, such as payslips or tax documents, are shred to produce paper clippings 4 mm x 12 mm in size. After a continuous shredding process of a full 240 minutes in Automatic mode or 30 minutes in Manual mode, this reliable device requires a cool-down period before it can continue its quick cutting speed of 1.8 metres per minute.

Keyfacts
Intuitive operation of the HP Pro Shredder Auto 400CC makes shredding documents easy and reliable. If you inadvertently insert too many documents in Manual mode, the paper is automatically fed out again thanks to the anti-paper-jam technology.
In addition to the automatic Start-Stop function, which ensures that the shredder stops the moment no more material is inserted, the shredder is also equipped with an overloading and overheating indicator. An LED indicator lights up when the waste bin is full and must be emptied or if the waste bin has not been inserted properly.
The pull-out waste bin, which has a volumeof 53 litres, ensures that the cut material is easy to empty.
Paper clips and staples represent no problems for this modern office shredder and need not be tediously removed before stacks of documents can be shredded. The shredding of credit cards and CDs also represents no problem as long as they are fed into the manual infeed.
To protect the shredder from unauthorised access to the paper tray of the automatic infeed, the tray can be locked by means of a four-digit code.
To ensure the HP Pro Shredder Auto 400CC continues to produce good results when shredding, you should clean and service the cutting mechanism at regular intervals. In this case, there are special maintenance products available, such as shredder oil or oil paper.
