For the optimal care and cleaning of your shredder, the HP Shredder Oil in the practical 400 ml dosage bottle is ideally suited. The oil is specially blended for the HP shredders and is also environmentally friendly: since it is a vegetable lubricant, no pollutants are released into the environment through the cleaning process via the paper waste. Of course, the oil is also compatible with document shredders from other manufacturers.

With regular care and cleaning of the cutting mechanism your shredder will reward you with a long running time and permanently lower operating noise.
How frequently you should clean your document shredder depends on its use, but at the latest when you notice that the shredder is working more slowly or noisily than usual, it is advisable to perform a cleaning.
First, apply the HP Shredder Oil in serpentine lines to a sheet of paper and empty the cuttings from the waste container.
Next, shred the oiled paper and then press the reverse button for 10 seconds so that the cutting rollers are evenly oiled. Your HP shredder is now free of dust and paper residues, fully operational and pleasantly quiet.
For the occasional cleaning of your home office shredder, HP Shredder Oil is also available in the handy 120 ml dosage bottle. For an even easier application with perfect dosage, use the HP Shredder Oil Sheet.
